About Us

HighViz RC is a small family business that was founded with the goal of designing and manufacturing landing gear for the remote-control model airplane community. In the fall of 2024, our company was fortunate to be able to purchase Robart Manufacturing’s landing gear line and, in addition to our own designs, we intend to continue making the high quality parts they were known for.

Who are we: we’re modelers! We live in Michigan and regularly attend both jet meets and Warbird and Classic events across the Midwest. We competed at Top Gun in the Team Scale Class and had the high honor of receiving the Critic’s Choice award with our F-86 Sabre.

Larry is a third generation R/C Pilot, and he grew up flying with his dad. He worked in the manufacturing industry making high precision parts for commercial jets and defense for the USA.

Jordan got involved with R/C airplanes in college through the SAE Aero Design competition. After graduating from the University of Michigan with a degree in Aerospace Engineering, she did design work and 3D modeling for a turbine engine manufacturer. She likes to build world-class models in her free time.

Larry and Jordan met at the R/C flying field and they got married six years later. Now as a family, they are raising two beautiful girls to be the best R/C enthusiasts they can be. Keep an eye out for the Peterson family at R/C events across the country!
